Thanks to Sandra for hosting!
The weather in my neck of the woods:
Windy and not too hot, yet.
One of my simple pleasures:
Coming home to a clean house after being away.
On my bedside table:
Kleenex...and Eldest. Still.
On my TV:
No TV here.
On the menu for tonight:
Going to grill or saute some fresh garden squash and enjoy some homemade bread with homemade butter. Not sure what else yet. Will have to check my freezers.
On my To Do List:
Nailing down some odd and ends before school starts in 3 weeks.
New Recipe I tried last week:
Hmm...nothing new.
In the craft basket:
Working away on my new bag. I think I'm about halfway done.
Looking forward to:
My kids starting piano lessons next week.
Homemaking Tip for this week:
I've mentioned this before, but I think it's worth a second time: Get your kids involved! Chores, cooking, all of it. My kids are almost always more capable than I think.
Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other):
Of Horse and Girls and Summer by Julia
Favorite photo from last week:
We had belt testing at the karate school last week. This photo that Ron took of Tristan's feet just made me smile.
Lesson learned the past few days:
That I can do this. All of it.
On my Prayer List:
Friends
Family
Fellow bloggers
Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
John 1:12-13 But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn! This is not a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan-this rebirth comes from God.
