My boy

I know this picture could make him look like a real urchin. And he sometimes is. But then there are some days that I am convinced there is not a sweeter little guy on the planet.
This past Sunday I was down with a very bad headache. It had plagued me all Saturday night, and when Sunday morning rolled around, I was not in any shape to go to meeting with my family. So Ron got all the kids fed and ready to go. When the kids came to tell me goodbye, Tristan was very worried that I would be home by myself. What if I needed something? He actually became upset thinking about it, and told Ron he really needed to stay home and help take care of me.
So while I dozed off and on that morning, he kept himself entertained. And every so often he would tiptoe in my room and say, "Momma, do you need me to get you anything?"
